Summer Youth Employment

The Schuyler County Youth Bureau provides employment opportunities to youth living in Schuyler County during the months of July-August. The goal of the program is to provide youth in the county with work related knowledge and hands on work experience which each youth can continue to use after they leave the program. The Youth Bureau works with several county businesses and agencies to provide a variety of workplace opportunities which we can use to give the youth enrolled in our programs the best experiences possible. Some of our previous work place partnerships include Watkins Glen International, Office for the Aging, 4-H and The Village of Odessa.

Working Papers Assistance During School Closure

Completed applications will be accepted starting May 1st and can be submitted to the Social Services Office located in the Human Service Complex at 323 Owego St. Montour Falls, NY. All applicants will need current working papers, birth certificate, social security card and a photo id (or report card) in order to be hired.
